Karl P. Becker, of the Town of Troy, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Oct. 28, 2026, at the age of 90. Karl married Erika in Cologne, Germany on July 18, 1960. He brought his family to America in April of 1961. They proudly became US citizens in 1983 and always lived in the state of Wisconsin. Karl was an electrician by trade but loved to show his Golden Retriever and English Setter. He was a member of the Kenosha Kennel and Holy Hill Dog Clubs, just to name a few. He won several ribbons including Highest in Match and Best in Match. He was a lifetime member of the Harley Owners Group and Kettle Moraine Chapter Motorcycle Club.
Years ago, he was President of a cactus club and more recently President of the Wisconsin Iris Society for 12 years. He won many ribbons over the years, including “Queen” and “Best Specimen of Section”. His yard was his garden with a variety of flowers and over 1200 different varieties of iris.
Karl enjoyed life to its fullest; if there was something to do, he was involved, whether it was hunting, fishing, traveling or anything else you could imagine.
