Ardys L. Robers, 87, of Bristol, passed away peacefully Monday Sept. 28, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born April 5, 1939, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Clarence and Hazel (nee Schold) Martell, living in Paddock Lake before settling in Bristol in 1988.

Before her retirement in 2004, Ardys worked alongside her husband, bookkeeping for Robers Builders Inc., later working as a Real Estate Agent for Bear Realty. Ardys was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes-St. Peter Church in Antioch and was a 4-H Leader for the Bristol Strivers for many years. She enjoyed: gardening, flowers, taking vacations, and trips to the casino. On April 19, 1958, Ardys married Ronald F. Robers at St. Mary Church in Kenosha.

Ardys is survived by her husband of 68 years Ron; five sons, Michael (Brenda) Robers of Chippawa Falls, Brian (Judy) Robers of Salem, Jeff Robers of Hudson, Mark (Barbie) Robers of Madison, and Patrick (Christy) Robers of Egg Harbor; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a brother Larry (Arlene) Martell of Ancona, Illinois; brother-in-law Norman (Judy) Robers of New Munster; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Ardys was preceded in death by a sister Marilyn (Jim) Doornick.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the nurses with Hospice Alliance, for their great care, compassion, and dignity towards Ardys.

Funeral Services with Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Our Lady of the Lakes-St. Peter Church, 557 Lake St. in Antioch. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Trevor. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday and from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Strange Funeral Home of Antioch, 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83), in Antioch, Illinois.
