Roger G. Schulter, 82, of Burlington, died on Aug. 6, 2026.
Roger was born on Nov. 4, 1943, in Le Mars, Iowa. His biological parents were George and Margaret (Zach) Schulter, but he spent his early years in Eastman, with his aunt and uncle, Anthony and Elizabeth (Zach) Shinko. He was educated at Eastman State Graded School and proudly graduated from Seneca High School in 1961. He continued his education at the Vernon County Teachers College in Viroqua, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. A public school teacher, he received graduate credits at over twelve midwestern colleges. He taught for 34 years, with the last 26 as a Burlington Middle School Reading, English, and Social Studies Teacher.
Roger is survived by a special cousin, Laurayne (Shinko) Check in Eastman, and several other cousins and friends.
At Roger’s request, there will be no service.
