Linda J. Noltze, 78, of Elkhorn, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born on March 15, 1948, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Gene and Joyce (Hofmann) Hess. She was united in marriage to her loving husband, John Noltze on Sept. 21, 1969, at St. John’s in Menominee Falls. They were married for 56 wonderful years and together raised a beautiful family. During her life, she worked for Lakeland Health Center as a medical assistant and nurse’s aide and eventually retired. She was a wonderful caregiver. She was respectful, compassionate and loved helping others. Linda was a passionate animal lover, loved gardening and really enjoyed crafts such as stenciling and painting. She was strong willed, tough and told it like it was. Her loving and creative personality will be deeply missed.

Linda is survived by her husband, John; children, Amy (Roger) Bates and Chad Noltze; siblings, Elizabeth (James) Hafemeister, Laurie (Joyce) Hess, Mike (Barb) Hess, John (Bridget) Hess, and David (Terri) Hess; grandchildren, Maelin Noltze and Matthew (Taylor) Bates; great grandchild, Winry Bates, nieces, nephews and many other beloved family members.

A memorial service will take place at Noon on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes, 730 N Wisconsin St., Elkhorn. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
