Mark E. Magnuson, 80, of Wind Lake, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026. Mark was born on Jan. 17, 1946, in South Milwaukee to the late Harry and Gunhild (Nelson) Magnuson.
On Oct. 21, 1967, Mark married the love of his life, Nadine Obernovich, at Norway Lutheran Church in Wind Lake. Together they built a loving family and shared 58 wonderful years of marriage.
Mark enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and could often be found riding his motorcycle, working on cars, attending local dirt-track stock car races, watching fireworks, or trying his luck at the casino. He was especially fond of playing the lottery, whether it was Badger 5 or a favorite scratch-off ticket. Mark also believed in giving back to his community and was a longtime supporter of church charity events and local raffles. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent many years employed at Allis-Chalmers before retiring from Harley-Davidson.
Mark will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Nadine; his children, Markie (Tammy) Magnuson and Amber (Jeff) Martin; his cherished grandson, Parker; his sister, Marion; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Chuck Magnuson.
