Joyce A. Bieneman, 83, of Burlington, passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Burlington on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
Born on March 4, 1943, in Burlington, Joyce was the daughter of Edward and Monica (nee Ketterhagen) Bieneman. She spent her entire life in Burlington. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School, was a member of St. Mary Parish and worked at NEL Frequency Controls. Joyce enjoyed baking, painting ceramics, and collecting nik naks. Her stuffies and her Christmas village were favorites of hers.
Joyce is survived by her siblings: Patricia Bartolo, Thomas (Doris) Bieneman, Carol Fabian, Peter Bieneman, and Nancy (Alex) Cowan. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Edward Bieneman Jr.; brothers-in-law: James Fabian and Joseph Bartolo; and sister-in-law Louann Bieneman.
The family would like to thank the staff of Golden Years in Lake Geneva and the ICU doctors and nurses at Burlington Hospital for all of their compassion and care.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to St. Mary Parrish.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary Immaculate Conception on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 26 from 9 until 10:30 a.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. Joyce will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery immediately following Mass.
