Gail Y. Earle, 79, of Delavan, passed away at Lakeland Medical in Elkhorn on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
Born in Chicago on Oct. 31, 1946, Gail moved around with her family before settling in Pewaukee. She attended UW-Whitewater and married Dennis Earle in 1967. They moved to Delavan in 1971, where they lived for many years.
Gail contributed to the community for many years. Most notably, she was known as The Teddy Bear Lady, having made teddy bears and other stuffed animals. Gail was a loving mother and will be deeply missed by her entire family.
Gail is survived by her two brothers, Mike (Darlene) Ryan of Corvallis, Oregon, and Daniel Ryan of Lead, South Dakota; her two children, Kathryn (James) Ulatt of Franklin, Wisconsin, and Andrew (Katrina) Earle of Franklin, Indiana; and grandson, Ryan Ulatt of La Crosse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Shirley Ryan.

Funeral Services will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Christ Episcopal Church, 503 E. Walworth Ave in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral on Friday at the church.
