Roy H. Klein, 89, of Elkhorn, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026.
Roy was born on April 16, 1937, in Elkhorn, the son of late August H. Klein. He was united in marriage to his loving wife, Mary Klein, on August 18, 1962, in Elkhorn. They were married for 49 beautiful years, until Mary’s passing in January of 2011. During his life, Roy served in the U.S. Military. He worked as a Machinist at Spindustries in Lake Geneva until retirement. He was an avid bird watcher, who also loved to fish, go up north and do yard work. He really enjoyed and appreciated the outdoors and nature. The things that he loved the most were spending time with his great grandkids and his family, and visiting with his neighbors. Roy will be missed dearly.
Roy is survived by his children, John (Tamie) and James; brother, Richard (Terry) Klein; grandchild, Amanda (Jason) Jones and great grandchildren, Jaylin and McKenzie Jones.
Roy is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Klein; father, August Klein; sister, Jean Bjorge, and brother in law, Jerry Bjorge.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 5 p.m. at the Haase Lockwood and Associates Funeral Home, 730 N Wisconsin St., Elkhorn. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date.
