Robert “Doc” Jooss M.D. 86, of Twin Lakes, passed away May 8, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 26, 1939, in Brillion, the son of the late Martin and Adeline (Huebner) Jooss. On April 9, 1966, he was united in marriage to Judith Dana. He served in the United States Navy as an anesthesiologist.
Robert is survived by his wife Judy, sister Barb Hechel, brother Tom (Toni) Jooss, sister-in-law Bev Kendall (Jim Gilbertsen), brother-in-law Chuck Dana (Barb), sister-in-law Shirley Jooss, and nieces and nephews, Vicky, Denise, Michelle, Jenny, Kris, Matt, Chip, Erin, and David along with and their families. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Martin and Adeline, in-laws Dan and Dorie Dana, brothers Rick and John Jooss, and brother-in-law Mel Hechel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
