Marilyn Grace Schawk, 92, of Sarasota, Florida and formerly of Fontana, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026.
Marilyn was born in Chicago to John and Olga (Maschoff) Rieck. She married Clarence W. Schawk on June 6, 1953.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Vernon, sisters Arlene Kinkel and Elaine Miller, and her husband in 2014.
Marilyn is survived by her four children Cathy, David (Teryl), Judy (Bruce) Gallo and Lisa (Scott) Stearns; seven grandchildren, Kelly, Colleen, Kara, Jessica, William, Mallory and Sarah Grace; twelve great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Marilyn’s first passion was her strong faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Love for her family and friends came in at a close second. She was known for her generous spirit and giving heart. She loved well and was well loved.
Funeral Service will be held at Noon on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 416 W. Geneva Street in Delavan. Visitation will be held at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral.
