Helene J. Roling, 93, of Delavan passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Ridgestone Village in Delavan.
Helene was born on Feb. 17, 1933 in Chicago to Harry and Isabel (Schmidt) Clark. She was an avid speed skater and competed in High School in upstate New York. Helene was united in marriage to Edward Roling on Jan. 2, 1954 at St. Gregory’s Church in Chicago. Edward passed away on March 5, 1996. Helene was a registered nurse for many years at Willowfield Nursing Home and then Dr. Galgano in Delavan. She was a very active member of St. Andrews Catholic Church.
Helene is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (David) Kraayeveld, of Kent, Washington; two sons, Mark (Rebecca) Roling, of Elgin, Illinois, and Tom (Christy) Roling, of Longmont, Colorado; 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Helene is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; daughter, Janet, son, Edward Jr., and two brothers, Harry and Thomas.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026 at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Andrews School.
