Cole lived most of his life in Burlington, where he attended school kindergarten through tenth grade until his terminal illness of Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy made it too difficult to attend. He later moved to Illinois with his mother Karen I. Cole and step-dad Donald Cole, Jr.
Cole enjoyed going for strolls in his wheelchair, sitting in the sun, creative writing, and watching THE BOYS, Nux Taku and AsmonGold on YouTube in addition to a love of Anime and having someone playing video games for him to watch.
Cole is survived by his mother Karen (nee Franco) Cole; step-dad, Donald Cole, Jr.; father, James McCarville of Lancaster; brothers Mark Stiltner and Zack Flahive; sister Crystal Stiltner; grandfather John Franco, step-grandpa Roy Stevenson; Uncle Moises Franco; numerous other aunts and uncles, five nieces, five nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Deborah B. Stevenson.
No funeral service will be held. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life at their home in Illinois. Please contact any mentioned family members if anyone wants to send condolences or flowers.
