Thomas A. Arnold, 59, of Burlington, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born and raised in Burlington, Tom spent his entire working career with Scherrer Construction Company, where he poured and finished concrete.
Tom was an avid fisherman who loved working with his hands and fixing things. He will be remembered for his lighthearted personality and great sense of humor. He was also famously known for calling his birthday, March 30, “quitting time” (3:30).
He is survived by his mother, Janette Arnold; brother Alan Arnold; daughters Abbey Arnold and Amanda Arnold; and grandson Louie Kuse. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Arnold and brother Keith Arnold.
An open house to celebrate Thomas’s life will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 3 p.m. until time of a prayer and share at 4:50 p.m. at Integrity Celebration Center, 2789 Browns Lake Dr., Burlington.
Memorials may be made to Burlington Fire Department or Fresenius Kidney Care in Burlington in Thomas’s honor.
