Edward J. Rauls, 74, of Eagle, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026 at his home.

Ed was born on May 10, 1951 in Milwaukee, the son of Howard and Carol (Kronforst) Rauls. He grew up in the Milwaukee area and was a 1969 graduate of Casimir Pulaski High School. Ed worked for the A. O. Smith Corporation for the majority of his working career. After retiring from A. O. Smith, he kept busy working at the Home Depot as well as Generac.

On June 21, 1975, Ed was united in marriage to Judith A. Bacon in Milwaukee and the two would go on to enjoy 50 years together. God blessed Ed and Judy with a daughter, Shannon. Ed was a proud husband and father and his family was the most important thing in his life. For leisure, Ed loved to be outdoors hunting and fishing with his friends, brothers, Chuck and Larry, and other relatives. He was at his best when surrounded by those closest to him enjoying a cold beer. Ed will be remembered for his direct and opinionated personality, his work ethic, and his love for his family. He will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.

Ed is survived by: his loving wife of 50 years, Judith Rauls of Eagle; his dear daughter, Shannon (Clarissa Rodriguez) Rauls of North Prairie; two siblings, Chuck (Diane) Rauls of Franklin and Cindy (the late Ken) Koprowski of Pewaukee; and his sister-in-law, Sandy Rauls of Milwaukee. Ed is further survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
