Corrine Susan Martin, 82, of Rochester, passed away peacefully on Feb. 14, 2026, at Aurora Hospital in Burlington, surrounded by family.
Corrine was born on May 18, 1943, to Charles and Eva Lutter in Kenosha. She grew up in Kenosha and graduated from Bradford High School. While raising her children in Twin Lakes, she owned a Hallmark gift store. Later in life, she spent many years working at Southern Lakes Gas Co. (now WE Energies), where she met the love of her life, David Martin.
Corrine and Dave married on July 14, 1984, and resided in Burlington. They spent more than 40 years traveling, visiting the cabin at Trapper Lake, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. Corrine loved gardening, cooking, and entertaining others. She was genuinely caring, compassionate, and kind-hearted to everyone she met. She especially loved being with family. They were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eva Lutter, stepson Jeffrey Martin, grandchildren Ella Kolano, Jacob Kolano, and Gabriel Spice, along with many cherished in-laws and friends.
Corrine is survived by her loving husband David Martin; daughter Patti (Greg) Spice; sons Sigmund (Susan) Kolano, and Eric (Patti) Kolano; stepsons, Scott (Mary) Martin, and Michael (Ann) Martin; stepdaughters, Tammy (Mike) Frank, Tracy (Rick) Girardi, and Rebecca (Larry) Henning; brothers Charles (Carol) Lutter, Robert Lutter; sister Dorothy Lutter, 14 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren, and many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation to celebrate Corrine’s life will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Integrity Celebration Center, 2789 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington. A Funeral Mass will take place at Noon on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, Corrine asked that memorials be made to St. Charles Catholic Church.
