Jeaneene (nee Fisher) Komas passed to eternal life on Dec. 31, 2025, at the age of 88.
Jeaneene was the beloved mother of John (Peggy), Jim (Lori), Jeff (Sarah Barber), and Gigi Komas (Ken Brand); proud grandmother of Jerry, Jacquelyn (Noah Entringer), Will, Drew (Tess), Brooke, Eric, Ryan, Harper, and Kayla; dearest sister of Joe (Marge) Derr; and sister-in-law of Ron Komas and Sue (Dennis) Ryan. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jeaneene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John “Jack” Komas; her brother, Robert Fisher; and her daughter-in-law, Pamela Komas.
Jeaneene was known for her positive outlook and feisty spirit, always making the best of any situation. Adventurous by nature, she embraced camping and traveling with her family and later journeyed to many countries with her late husband, Jack. A woman of deep faith, Jeaneene felt truly at home at St. Peter’s and was supported and strengthened by her prayer group. Before moving to East Troy, she cherished lake life and was an active member of the Lake Beulah Yacht Club, where she also served as a former Sidestays President.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 1975 Beulah Ave., East Troy, from 10 a.m. to Noon. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Noon Entombment will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorials in Jeaneene’s name to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
