Louis Liburdi, Jr., of Palmyra, passed away on Dec. 12, 2025. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve, and he spent a long career as a fully credentialed Heating and Air Conditioning Technician. Much of his spare time was spent on oval tracks in the Midwest, racing his stock car number 74. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoying those sports in forests and lakes throughout Wisconsin and adjoining states. He was a very active member of the local Lions Club, serving as a volunteer for decades. He often raised funds for Lions Club events, and served as an official and staff member at many charitable events that benefited his town. His dedicated and altruistic work with the Lions Foundation earned him a prestigious Melvin Jones Fellow Award for humanitarian services.
Louis Liburdi, Jr. was the son of the late Louis Liburdi and Lucille M. Liburdi, of Menomonee Falls. He is survived by his brother, John C. Liburdi and wife Frances of Mooresville, North Carolina, sister Christine M. Barham of Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, sister Catherine M. Liburdi and husband Kenneth of Clovis, California, sister Elizabeth A. Di Stefano of Franklin, and sister Margaret F. Czech and husband Raymond of Pewaukee.
Final rites and blessings for Louis Liburdi, Jr. will be held on Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. with only immediate family members in attendance.
