John E. Hoffman, 90, of Elkhorn, died at home on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025. John was born on May 28, 1935, the son of the late John and Goldie (Milbrown) Hoffman. He married Marian Milarch on March 17, 1956, in Fox Lake, Wisconsin. John was a proud veteran of the United States Air force. He was very talented in most sports and enjoyed participating where he could. He served for many years as a Shriner, and he followed the daily news closely as he liked to keep up with current events. John enjoyed following politics, and served as an Elkhorn city alderman for six years.
John is survived by his wife Marian; children, Sherry Hoffman and Jackie (Dana) Logsdon; and grandchildren, Lauren Logsdon, Brittney (Gavin) Stinson, and Jules Logsdon. John is preceded in death by his son Greg Hoffman and sister Barbara Schmidt.
John was laid to rest in Roselawn Memory Gardens following a private family committal service.
John’s arrangements are under the direction of Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory.
