Jane “Jayne” M. Hagen, 70, of Elkhorn, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025. She was born on July 29, 1955, in Elkhorn, the daughter of the late Orvin “Bud” and Mary Ann (Lackas) Bromeland. She was united in marriage to her loving husband, Ronald Hagen, on Feb. 20, 2000.
Jayne worked for Walworth County Human Services for over 35 years. During her earlier years, she loved to ride her motorcycle and was a part of the Southern Lakes Riders group. She loved to travel and live life freely while doing the things she enjoyed most. She carried that love and passion when becoming a mother and grandmother. Her love for traveling never went away. She really enjoyed visiting Florida, Disney and Universal, taking long trips and visiting other places as well. She loved playing games, her cats and really all animals. She also really enjoyed her retirement years. Jayne was known as very loving, generous and the kind of person who would take the shirt off her back to give it to others in need. Jayne loved to laugh, loved her family fiercely and lived for her grandkids and great grandkids. Her presence, laughter, kind heart and everything in between will be greatly missed.
Jayne is survived by her daughter, Misty (Brian) Gray; grandchildren, Tyler Gray and Alexis ”Lexy” (Gerald) Guerrero; great grandchildren, Myla, Jade and Cora; bonus granddaughter, Drea (Derek) Ferguson; brothers and sisters, Michael (Diana) Bromeland, Patrick (Deborah) Bromeland, Thomas (Nancy) Bromeland, Mary Lehner and Edward (Karen) Bromeland; and brother-in-law, Emil “Joe” Johnson.
