Jacqueline M. “Jackie” Stearns, 75, of Delavan, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025. She was born Oct. 4, 1950, to the late Robert and Margery (Hebenstreit) Stone in Decatur, Illinois.

Jackie was a longtime member of Harvestpoint Church and a good steward for the Lord. She showed her deep devotion to the church by generously giving back to the community by teaching Sunday school and tutoring children in need. She was loved and revered by many for her kindness, faith, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

Jackie was a proud long-time employee of Southern Lakes Newspaper. Growing up in Colorado, she loved the mountains, enjoyed the outdoors, and camping. Jackie showed her love by cooking and feeding those she cared about including a great beef barley soup!!

Jackie is survived by her children, Jennifer Stearns, Julie Rosenberg, and Jessica Stearns; grandson, William J.P. Rosenberg; and her entire extended family and chosen family. Jackie was greeted in heaven by her parents, and siblings, John, Richard, Michael, Steve, Patricia, and Barbara Stone.
