Diane Marie Voss, 89, of Walworth, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025. She was born in Chicago on Sept. 25, 1936, the daughter of Charles and Sylvia (Erickson) Siman.

Diane was united in marriage on Sept. 22, 1956 in Harvard, Illinois, to Robert John Voss. Diane and Robert were happily married for 69 years. For 68 years, Diane has been a devoted and active member of the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Walworth. She had served as a member with its church council and the LCW group. She had worked as a CNA for a few years. Diane had the heart of a volunteer belonging to many organizations including, picture lady for area schools, 4-H leader for more than 25 years, and visiting several shut-ins. She served as Chairman of Walworth Township Board. In her leisure time, Diane enjoyed participating in several bridge clubs. She also had many hobbies that she enjoyed with her family, including cooking, baking, gardening, antiquing, swimming, waterskiing, and fishing, laying claim to having caught the largest fish in the family. She was a 65-year exhibitor at the Walworth County Antique Fair. She also participated and supported Karla’s 5K runs. Diane will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.

Diane is survived by her husband, Robert Voss of Walworth: her sons, Milton (Annette) Voss, Todd (Kathy) Voss, Bruce (Lisa) Voss and Sidney (Julie) Voss; her grandchildren, Ashley (Steven) Kleven, Cory (Leslie) Voss, Will (Martina) Voss, Savannah Voss, Noah (Abby) Voss, Sawyer Voss, Nicholas (Alex) Voss, Laura Voss (Scott), Jen Renspie, Kim Renspie, and Dane Voss; her great-grandchildren, Brynlee and Brayden Voss, and Colten and Cooper Kleven; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Sylvia Siman, and her siblings, Dolores Collins and Charles Siman.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025 at the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 420 Read Street, Walworth. Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Service at the church.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church of Walworth.
