Edward Orrin Smith, 72, formerly of Waterford, passed away on Thursday July 31, 2025.
Ed was born Jan. 18, 1953, son of Orrin, Jr. AND Mildred (Oestreich) Smith. He graduated 8th grade from St. Thomas Aquinas Grade School in 1967.
For many years Ed volunteered along with his grandmother, Theresa Smith, at the Burlington Memorial Hospital, and at many St. Thomas church functions.
More recently he lived in Minneapolis and worked at Opportunity Partners in Plymouth, Minnesota.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and his grandmother. He is survived by his brothers, Jerry (Susy) Smith, Tim (Judy) Smith, and Rob Smith; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services are planned for a later date with interment in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
